Surplus is an application for ordering excess food stock from food stores, which has the potential to be wasted if it is not sold out before closing time, with discount prices always 50%.
The Surplus application is different from other applications because it only sells excess food (overstock products) from cafes/restaurants/hotels/catering/bakeries/fruit shops/etc. with a minimum discount of 50% at certain times (Flash Food Sale) or at the end of the day ( Closing Hour Discount/Clearance Sale).
Yes, the food sold from Rekan Surplus is food that is still suitable and safe for consumption, has not expired, and has not even been touched at all. We try to prevent edible food from being wasted simply because it is not sold out.
By ordering food through the Surplus application, you can save up to 50% on expenses while contributing to preventing food waste for the sake of environmental sustainability (automatically becoming a Food Waste Hero!
The Surplus application can be downloaded via Google Playstore for Android users and the App Store for iOS users. Don’t be mistaken, there are 2 types of Surplus applications on Google Play, namely the Surplus application for customers and the Surplus Partner application for Surplus partners.
Currently, Surplus Partners are spread across the JABODETABEK, Bandung, Yogyakarta and Malang areas. However, we still need your support to spread information about the Surplus application so that more food shops join as Surplus Partners in our coverage areas and in new areas.
Currently you can make transactions on the Surplus application using OVO/Gopay/DANA/ShopeePay. Payment via cash is not yet possible.
You can choose to pick up your order yourself at the Rekan Surplus store or use the delivery service from the Surplus application which is integrated with Gosend.
Always pay attention to the collection time that has been set by the Surplus Partner! You cannot take food outside the specified time.
If you choose the Pick Up method, you cannot cancel the order. If you choose to use Delivery, you can cancel the order on the order details screen only when the order status shows “Searching for a driver” or “Driver is taking the order to the store”. If the food has been delivered to your place, cancellations are no longer possible.
